AFTC Accelerated Flight Instructor Training Course

Learn to teach what you know at AFTC. In our intensive accelerated training program you will be instructed in everything you need to become a CFI (certified flight instructor). Following completion of our course you will possess the ability to provide flight training lessons to anyone wanting to learn to fly. Our methods ensure you will absorb the material more quickly and effectively, allowing it to remain "fresh." Through the years, the accelerated training program at AFTC has proven to be an efficient and economical way to achieve certified flight instructor status without sacrificing safety or quality.

We will show you how to transfer your knowledge and skill from the cockpit to the classroom. Learn to create effective, attention-grabbing lesson plans covering all aspects of flying, including technical subjects, regulations and flight maneuvers. As a certified flight instructor graduating from our accelerated training program, you will be equipped to teach all ratings under CFR Part 61. With our guidance your students will get the resources they need to succeed.

The certified instructors at AFTC are focused on results, offering plenty of one-on-one training. If you are unable to come to Long Beach we will come to the airport of your choice. Every pilot is unique and we will tailor your CFI instruction to meet your individual needs. Our students come from all over the United States, Europe and Canada.

We provide I-20 Visa application support for international CFI students as well as assistance with accommodations. Today's weaker dollar also means you save when you come to the U.S.

Your instruction will take place in a new Cessna 172 (with G1000 or conventional instrument panel), SR22, multi-engine aircraft or one of a variety of helicopters. We guarantee our training and if you fail to pass your course we will provide two extra days at no extra charge. Also, weather delays will not be charged against your training schedule.
