Multi-engine rating (add on)

Our 5 day Multi engine rating is an add -on to the private or commercial rating you now have. During this training you will receive 10 to 15 hours of flight training 20 to 25 hours of oral preparation for the flight test. You will be taught the Aerodynamic differences between the single and the multi as this is covered thoroughly in the oral test. There are no written test requirements for this rating. Many of our pilots combine the multi with the commercial rating. Contact us to find what is involved. We include all material you need to learn the multi engine systems.  We can arrange a multi engine aircraft if needed for your training.

Commercial Ratings – Single engine and Multi engine .

AFTC has developed a Commercial rating course that can be completed in just 6 days. You will be trained for either the single or multi engine aircraft, whatever rating you wish to obtain. The commercial does require a written test and AFTC can help guide you through this. The flight requirements for the commercial are much more stringent than the private and you will be a much better pilot upon completions.

Written completed
250 hours of total time                                                           
50 hours of PIC cross country
