Accelerated Flight Training Center
In the normal 10 day instrument course you will receive 40 to 50 hours of flight training of which 10 to 20 can be in a simulator (approved). You will spend another 30 usage preparing for your oral test which includes charts, regulations, weather and usage of equipment in your aircraft.
Your training is conducted on a block building method of teaching to ensure that you understand each area of knowledge in the proper sequence, to ensure that you will understand how to use all the technology in your aircraft picture and others that you will come into contact with. This includes VOR; ILS; GPS; Autopilot; Glass panels etc.
You will work one on one with your instructor for approximately 8 hours per day. He will keep you fully appraised of your progress to meet the goal. Your instructor will also set up the check ride with the examiner and if possible meet with him/her prior to the test to discuss the check ride.
You will not only be trained to pass the check ride but will be proficient to fly IFR. All our instructors look for IMC weather so you will experience what it is like to fly in instrument conditions.
Our job is not completed until you have passed your check-ride and recieved your certification !
