Q. I have been training for 4 months and have had 4 different instructors. Plane Scheduling problems and only 18 hours of IFR time with no actual. (The instructors did not want to fly in it?)
Each Time I had to review the prior training so actually did not advance. I feel the training was poor, erratic and costly at this pace. Can you get me my rating completed without these problems.

Q. How long does the course take if I have prior training?

For instrument it normally takes a day off for every 5/6 hours of prior instrument training. Much depends on the training and how far back it goes. Q. Do you use simulators and if so are they an advantage?

We do use simulators in our training. We do not promote it as much as some Flight schools do as they do not reflect the modern technology such as GPS and Glass panels. The advantage is the FAA allows 20 hours to be used as part of the 40 hour minimum required in an approved simulator. Our experience tells us that 10 hours is about all that is helpful.

Q. Can I really complete the instrument course in just 10 days?
